ISO/IEC TR 20000-10, “Information technology – Service management – Part 10: Concepts and terminology,” has just been updated. The new 2nd Edition from November 2015 is available from Document Center Inc. in paper format or for pdf download. This is a technical revision of the previous 1st Edition from 2013, which is now obsolete (withdrawn).
ISO/IEC TR 20000-10 is an overview document, providing IT service providers with the basics of the ISO/IEC 20000 series on service management. And since many products are being morphed into services (think software as a service for example), this is a particularly timely set of standards.
Currently there are 8 published parts of the ISO/IEC 20000 series with an additional 3 parts in the works.
