EN Editions of the ISO 10685 series on Ophthalmic optics, Spectacle frames and sunglasses electronic catalogue and identification, just released

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) has been around for a while and any number of industry sectors have been working over the years to develop standardized methods of storing and transmitting data about their products, customers, and so on.  Now the efforts of the optical industry are paying off with the release of the ISO 10685 series of standards.  And the European Union has recently adopted these documents as EN standards as well.
